A Meme, and a Memorial

1. Truth is, I liked you too.
2. I think that you ask the most stoopid questions. :| And stop judging others so quickly! You have no right to do that.
3. I hope for the day when I can finally stop lying to you. :c
4. Where were you when we needed you? You're like a stranger to us now.
5. I can safely say that you're my closest friend right now. Thanks for putting up with me and my quirks. ;)
6. Forgive me for distancing myself from you.
7. There was a time when I thought that you had much to learn.... but as it turns out, I'm the one who's (still) learning. :) [p.s. I love it when you take off your glasses. <3 ]
8. You still influence me to this very day. My only regret is that we didn't end on a pleasant note. :c
9. I think that you're a beautiful person. Even with your scars. <3
10. I know what you did last schoolyear. O_O ... Really, I do.

The entries in this community made me weep.
(A tribute to to the incident at Virginia Tech.)
The tragedy occurred five to six days ago, in a state and country that's timezones away from our own. But after reading the messages in that community, I felt as though it had happened right here.
In a way, it did. Because in the end, it's not about the differences in our nationalities or our campuses. In the end, we're all just human beings who are living one Earth, and are trying to come to terms with the losses of that brutal day.
To the families and friends of all the victims, and even of the shooter: May God guide you through these dark days,
and help you to move on from this tragic loss.
To those who found peace on that day:
You will forever be loved and remembered.
