did I hear update?

Alright, been a few days since an update. Heres the scoop on what my life consisted of. I got my schedule for work accepted, woohoo!! At least a 32 hour work week, so thats a good 350-400 a week right there, and if I'm able to and my boss can justify it I'll be able to work the 40 hours like everyone else. Which might be quite often so that rocks even more. Only reason I didn't take 40 til the end of the year is because I have class in the fall Monday through Thursday so having a Thursday night off of work is nice being I'll have all day Friday off from everything. Figured I'd make it easy on them and not have to change a schedule again.

Weezer concert was on Thursday. OMG... it rocked. I am a little disappointed that they only played for about 1.5 hours, but it was still kick ass. Maybe because they have numerous CDs that I expected to hear everything, yet thats not how it works. Singing slash playing for 3+ hours equals death. But besides that it was awesome, good seats too. Detroit sucks, ps. lol (hate that place)

Well, got back from 'class' today. MW 1130-110, Tai Chi. It's no where as hard as I thought it would be. Its not a self defense class (it could be), but because its a beginners class we just go slowly through one of the forms. And by slowly, I mean way slow. Its like one of those things where you see on a movie the [usual] guy would be doing some martial arts moves really slow for a meditation thing... thats what this is. No strain, all relaxing. Its pretty cool, theres a hell of a lot of stuff to remember. We did one move today that consisted of about 9 moves hands moving everywhere, feet moving everywhere... hard to keep track of what is supposed to do what. It doesn't help that theres about 8 guys in the class [that all know eachother] that mess around and don't pay attention. They just sit there and pretend to kill eachother and do mock fighting and what not even with the sounds. After an hour it gets a little annoying and obnoxious. This class isn't a credit no credit class, we actually get a grade. There's a take home written exam on the history and philosophy (25%) and then a solo performance (75%). So we actually have to know everything well and practice a lot if we need to get an A. So I dunno, maybe they'll quit or stop being retarded or continue and just fail. What kinda sucks is that 6 of them play football so they all have that mentality of 'i'm too cool for this.' But like I said.. oh well lol.

Other than that, I really don't have that much to say. 9 more days til Elyse and myself's 3 month. Too bad its a Wednesday, can't hang out like I'd prefer cuz I gotta work at night and there's a good chance E will be working in the afternoon. Thats what weekends are for though :). Heart weekends.
