(no subject)
So the past few days have been busy visiting family, goin into town, and being sick. ha. Sick since I got here..booo. Lots of family I hardly ever see..kinda weird in a way. Didn't talk much. I stay in the shadows. Around my grandparents place we've hiked around, rode 3wheelers, played basketball, watched home videos, taken a ton of pictures...and of course family family family.
Yesterday all the girls went into town to do some shopping and we had tea at a tea house down in Old Town. That was different. Dainty little tea cups with some vanilla cream tea..little sandwiches and all that jazz. It was pretty cool. We then went to Seaport Village (more shopping) where my brother and Dad met us. Angie, Mike, and I went home in my car...and we got super lost. For over an hour. But...it was ok. We werent stressing..just having fun with it. Went home and watched 'War of the Worlds' with Angie..one unbelievable..odd movie. Tom Cruise? boooo.
Today my Mom, Grandma, and I went and saw the Broadway Musical of 'The Lion King'. Three hours long, this play was so incredible. I loved everything about it. From the music, singing, acting, props, lighting..And the way that they made the animals come alive. The people playing them must have really studied and practiced the movements that each of these animals make. Genius...I would love to see it again.
So far, I've seen 'Les Miserables' , 'White Christmas' , and 'Lion King' on stage. I was trying to think which one I liked best...but I just couldn't. All of them were so amazing. I love broadway plays! I want to see so many more...
..this is getting way too long...tomorrow is the San Diego zoo..woot. Goodnight
