K first off Thank you.
Secondly, I'm not my usual chipper self right now, so I'm not really watching what I say nor censoring or 'candy coating' myself like I usually would. If this post comes of weird or offensive or anything, I do apologize with what little of my sanity I do have right now.. sorry!
That being said... I have notices a surge of my friends and acquaintances (both online and real life) questioning what is a friend.. how do I know this is a friend.. (fill in the blank) friend.. so on and so forth. So I was reading a journal that belongs to someone who I consider a friend questioning the same. So I responded with this:
Hmmmm.... I seem to question that damn near everyday... I know 1 truth: A true friend is someone you think of as you would as your brother or sister. Honestly, I have only a few real friends. I have many good friends and even more 'friends' but only a few that I would care for as I would my family.
That is very true hun, I wouldn't wanna be 'perfect' either. It takes all the fun out of life. All the adventure, all the mystery, all the chaos.. gone if people were 'perfect'. damnit gimme all the misery, gimme all the bullshit, gimme the crazy chaos, gimme disorder, gimme agony, hell gimme all the pain you cannot take alone... I don't care. because in the end, all this IS life... all this defines man and woman from people.. and in the end hun, through all this chaos, pain and disorder.. the people that walk through it will you side by side, from the time they meet you til the time you reach the point there chaos ends, though all the good times and bad, through all the rain and the pain, accepting you for who and what you are... those my dear, those are your true friends, and those are people that I would call my brothers and sisters. Those are the people that are Men and Women. not just people, not just sheep following the shepard.
Now I got 2 questions and a favor for all those who read this entry...
Question: How do you feel about this? How do you feel about what I said?
Favor: Please refer this entry to others so they can respond to what I wrote.. I wanna know what different people think, not just what I think.
