Several raccoons were just scratching at the door. I opened it up to get a better look and they backed off a few feet. The came closer as I stood there but didn't come in. This is probably a good thing because how on earth would I have gotten them out?

Be careful with raccoons, though. When they feel cornered, they get really mean and aggressive. And, they are pretty stupid, so they probably can't tell the difference between "cornered" and "hey, look, there's a human. Run away, run away!"

Sigh. I used to feed two baby skunks. One of my high school teachers shot their mother after she sprayed his dog; when he found her litter a couple days later I wound up with two of them. Eventually they stopped coming by but they were a great deal of fun. Very intelligent. Like to climb.
Ooh, and you can tell when they're about to spray if you watch them. If they're stamping their front feet they're pissed. If they turn around it is time to get very far away. The third sign is when they look back to aim but by that time it's too late.

If only it were Stutz.
Try Mr. Miller.
He asked me today if I have ever had any pregnancy scares and if my Mom knows that I have sex??? I know we're no longer in the student/teacher relationship thing, but isn't that still a bit odd?

Hee, my nipples didn't hurt anywhere near as bad as you'd think. And I didn't scream and cry because I didn't want to scare the baby. Now if only my hair would stop getting caught in the rings all would be well.
I'll take a look at my work schedule and get back to you. You work during the day and I work at night so we might have to do this on a weekend. Anything in mind?

I've no idea where I'm camping yet. I plan to wander around with my tent for a bit when I get there until I stumble on something that looks good -- then I'll schlep my gear in.
