If you haven't seen the movie 'Brick' then WATCH IT, I just did and I thought it was amazing.

and... The Dark Knight was ok, Heath's performance was narley though, one of the best performances I have seen in my lifetime.

i saw brick like 3 years ago, it was alright but I thought it tried to hard to be...well...indie

I've seen lots of movies that try to be, by my definition of the word, "indie" and I didn't like them for that, but I thought the exact oppostie of brick. I don't think it was trying to be indie, i think people just labeled it that. I thought it was an awesoooome modern film noir.
