2 Day Span of an Entry....
I had a dream last night that I won the lottery with one of those scratch off things... like 400,000$. I was hanging out with Noriko while I had to fill out the application(?) on the small little ticket... pretty hard questions or something because it was taking me forever and I only had a few hours left until I had to cash the thing in.
At one point someone asked Noriko what I was doing and she made up a really great excuse but I forget what she said. I kept thinking of how I would give 60,000$ to my father, and how I would invest most of it, blah blah. It was great... until one point in the middle of the dream I think I woke up slightly and realized that there was no ticket in my hand, but I still wanted to finish out the dream because I believed it felt like an alternate universe and I thought that if it happened there maybe it would happen IRL. I had a queer sense of karma in the middle of the dream, too.
I have been doing very well. Finals are done, and work is finally over. Now I can just focus on enjoying myself and getting prepared for my trip to Japan. I have an orientation in Columbus tomorrow so hopefully I will find out what kind of work I'm going to be doing. Today is very surreal... I'm dying from allergies and I took some Clariton D... and man do I feel fuzzy. Hopefully Hailey (my little student) won't notice that I'm a little wacky.
Tim is over now and we're going to Columbus for my orientation for the Saitama internship. Paying him some money to take me is waaaay more cost-effective than having to rent a car. Plus we get to meet my friend Jeremy from the French Translation Program and hang out for a bit. It'll be good times. :)
