It’s a good day today! Weather is nice but not too hot. I had sushi for lunch with Andy at Osaka’s and we’re going to Anthony’s for dinner. Today is our 4-year anniversary. Next year we’ll probably go on vacation somewhere to celebrate instead of just going to dinner.
In other news - Andy’s older brother graduates from Law school on Sunday. He takes the bar exam in July and finds out if he can be an attorney in October. Andy’s dad flew back from Italy for the graduation so he’ll be around for 2 weeks (and doesn’t plan to spend a moment of it sober - apparently the beer in Italy sucks).
Last night at dinner, Andy’s younger brother told us that sometime in the next 3 years he’ll be stationed in Japan for a few months (he works for the shipyard). He said while he’s there he’d be more than happy to have us visit and crash at his place. We’re both a bit excited about it. We’ve always wanted to go to Japan but there was never any actuality to the dream and now there is something tangible even if it might be a few years out. We plan to stay a few weeks if we do go. Now I have a reason to research places to see over there. I guess we should probably start learning Japanese too…
Puppies are doing well. On Monday they will be 4 weeks old. They can all walk, are mostly paper trained, can drink milk replacer from a bowl and have baby teeth. They are such cuties!
