of Frozen
Saw Frozen yesterday. I'll have to see it at least one more time to understand everything that was going on. Especially since we saw the swedish dub - which (of course) does not have any subtitles - which usually helps me a tiny bit more to keep better track (although I still would have had to repeat viewing it at least once more to completely follow, because that's how things are). But we were choosing between swedish dub in 2D or english speech (with swedish subs) in 3D and Bella and I really have a problem with 3D because the cinemas are horrible with it (at least in sweden - according to Bella it's awesome in London but I haven't experienced that so I don't know if it's true) so we decided to go with dubs this time around (sweden makes okay dubs at least - probably because we don't dub a lot so when we do (it really only happens with kid movies) we might as well do a good job).
Anyway! I really liked it - which isn't a huge surprise haha. The two biggest moments of the film had been spoiled before hand (the curse of tumblr *chuckle*) but that was okay. It was nice to see it all as a whole.
The thing that annoyed me quite a bit was the rabid wolves. I really thought disney had outgrown such ridiculous notions, but apparently not *rolls eyes* jeez.
Another thing Bella commented on was the fact that when Elsa was crowned as queen she got a lousy little tiara *chuckle* in a patriarchal monarcy (since the country seems to be an alternative universe Norway) she would HAVE to have a full crown.
The historical knowledge that kid carries around in her head amazes me somtimes *fond smile*
