H/D Fic rec

I'm currently unable to do anything else but sit my ass in front of the computer and keep reading Mirabella's The Shadow of His Wings. It is seriously one of THE best H/D fics I've read, and I'm not even done reading it. I'm actually only about halfway through, and yes, this fic is long, but well worth it.

The author completely fleshes out the HP world and all of its minor characters. I found myself falling in love with Goyle, hating Dumbledore and even sympathizing with Petunia Dursley. Her writing is so vivid, that her descriptions started creeping me out like I was watching a horror film.

I don't know how well known this fic is, seeing as what are considered 'Classics' are new to me, but if you haven't read it, you NEED to. Honestly, I have an 18-page play due Thursday, a scene showing on Friday, two plays to go see this week, not to mention my own fandom stuff, and all of this is going on the backburner because I'm absolutely HOOKED.
