last night there was a preview screening of Smart People at CMU and a few of us waited in line to get in to see it, before it's released in theaters.
ITS SO GOOD! I really like it anyway. funny, intelligent, interesting. I'm newly in love with Dennis Quaid.
smart people is the movie that was filmed on our campus last semester, and is actually about a Carnegie Mellon professor.
Hence, there's tons of shots of campus looking beautiful, and I know a few people that you can see as extras, and I also know a girl who has a liiine. coooooool!!!

anyway, i really liked it and you should def go see it. everything was filmed in pittsburgh and every campus scene is in one of our buildings. nothing was on a sound stage or anything.
the audience last night clapped every time there was a shot of campus and yelled things like "that's not in porter anymore! you're in doherty, you liars!" or he'd be walking into the dorm and they actually used the hallway where my friends lived freshman year and you're like "uh..i feel like i've been in that exact room" cause it's a real carnegie mellon dormroom.
so yep. very cool. funny to see it with all CMU students, all freaking out
so yes. see it.
