He Only Represents The 53%
Please to forgive, far away Americans, this commentary by foreigner. But perhaps Oohay is not understanding meaning of "President".
The Romney Mitt states he does not care about the 47%. For a moment, pause and reflect, without concern for who is 47% and who is 53%, who pays for what, who pays too little or too much. Please simply focus on simple question:
Is not the President of the United States of America, the President of that entire nation?
Once elected, is he not to make decisions to further the cause of the USA, the whole country? To defend them all, to govern them all, to guarantee all freedom, to ensure they all obey laws? Not only is he President of 53%, he is President of 100%.
To say otherwise is almost hard to imagine. "I will be President, but only of the people that agree with me. The rest, I do not care." Is this man that stupid, that crass, that much solely concerned with people of wealth and power, and utterly dismissive of nearly half the country?
This single statement should, for every thinking person, crystallize the moment of decision. As the man is not a fool, he must then be so maladjusted as to be unfit to "preside."
