Greetings all,
Well, I am coming to you in a time of need. Not my need, but the need of a one year old Kitten named Creepie and her companion Bree.

Bree (a very dear friend and roommate) got Creepie last October. She was in her cage, big bright yellow eyes staring back her. One of her pupils was malformed, and so she got this cute little ball of black fur and they were both so happy.

Once Creepie was old enough, Bree brought Creepie in to get spayed (as all responsible owners should) and they took her in for blood work.

Well a few hours later they came back with the results and very bad news. This Kitten, not even a year old, had CRF, or Chronic Renal Failure. What that means is that the kidneys are not doing their job.

So Creepie started going in 3 times a week for subcutaneous fluids just to keep her alive.

To the amazement of everyone, Creepie started to gain weight, and her blood toxins levels went down.

But then Bree got another kick in the teeth.

The vet stated that they did not know how long they were going to continue with the treatment because they said Creepie was getting to be too much to handle.

(*edit: this was written last night, and just today when Bree took Creepie in, they stated that they would no longer treat her.
)
So they basically said that they would do this for a little while longer, and after that, they would stop.

This means death for Creepie.

So then Bree heard about a university in Wisconsin, that does Kidney transplants on animals. But it is very expensive. To the tune of over 5000.00. Our hearts went from joy to despair at that prospect.

Now, for those of you that have known me for a very long time, you know that I don’t like asking for anything. I owe enough people enough money at this point. But I am asking for the life of a Kitten named Creepie and for the hope of her companion, Bree.

We have set up a donations link to Brees PayPal, and with any luck, we will raise the money before it is too late. If we do not, and Creepie passes, we will be giving the money to an animal shelter in the Chicago land area.

Please help this wonderful Kitten!
SpookyButtons. com has also decided to donate buttons to the cause. So with every donation, if you leave your address, you will get a button with the cute little Creepie on it as a thank you.

And thank you for taking the time to read this, and please, please, please pass this along to all your friends and let us see if we can save this dear kittens life.

Cheers,
Geoffrey Graves
