Balls, bike effectively immobilised!
Cycling home from work today, and just as I was turning out of the Science Park, I suddenly started to hear ssssssSSSSSsssssssssSSSSSSSssssssssSSSSSSSsssss which got slower as I slowed down. Bugger.
Checked my tyre and saw it visibly deflating rapidly. Rolling the wheel round until it hissed loudly to find where the puncture was, I rolled it back round so I could see the area, and found a cut a centimeter long through both tyre and tube.
Not much a puncture repair kit could do for that really, gonna have to take it to a proper bike shop. Rear tyre was getting a bit bald so needed replacing anyway. Not that this could have been the cause, something on the road must have cut it. Most annoying! Meant I had to push my bike all the way home. Meh, just put music on a went with it, stopping by the bike repair shop round the corner from house to see opening times. Opens at 8am so can stop by on my way to work tomorrow morning so not too bad really.
