What the fuck? Windows XP appears to have fucked up my Fonts folder, meaning the only font I have able to use, systemwide, is "system"
This means that any text box and/or button that uses a font other than this (such as buttons on web pages) is just gibberish...
Bizarre...I've already tried the obligatory "restart and hope for the best" approach but that didn't help anything!
Amusingly, in lists with titles you can click to sort ascending and click again for descending, the down arrow is now a "6" and the up arrow is now a "5"
