Richard Grey, liebchen. Samantha Achewood spoke of him before she died...it sounded like he might have been her lover, or a close friend. He... may have been the drowned body found in Westport. Samantha thought he, of all of the, might have known something useful.
That is, if I'm remembering all the bits and pieces correctly....

We've been ordered to shop in Westport anyway. Maybe it's worth going just to see what we can learn -- or what other people remember.
Have you found any of the records from that time? There are some over in the library archives.
[He slips around, providing as much warm body-contact as he can without getting in her way. He knows he's more used to cold than she is... and he's been careful to protect his core heat. He can act as a mini-furnace...]
The library hasn't been that helpful. I'd swear there was a boredom cantrip on them, but honestly, a lot of the records seem to be copies of each other.
[ She leans into him, feeling miserable in the cold. ]
I can't seem to manage a simple trip to the store without courting frostbite. We've got enough staples, but there isn't much left in the way of fresh food at the grocer's.
[ She gives a wry smile. ] Between stockpiling after Thanksgiving, and my plans for holiday meals, we're okay for a good bit. If I can get Egon and John to move downstairs, so we can all be in the living room, that's less house to heat.
If I help dress you properly, and make sure you're equipped, we could go together. If there's one thing you learn up in the Sturmhalten valley, it's how to cope with winter.
[Gentle smile, and a soft hug.]
If what you've told me is true, it may take a Sturmhalten boy to get a Geeee-orrrrrgia Girl through a bad winter.
We get the weather that has an ice storm one day, and then the next it all melts away. So I've had plenty of practice with dealing with no power, just not the cold going through the whole house. Even my parent's place is better insulated in the historic section of the house.
[ She pauses, then turns to blink at him. ] I think that's the first time anyone's dressed me in that tone of voice. You haven't gone hypothermic on me, have you?
[Blushes} You will be beautiful to dress, and beautiful when you are dressed, and beautiful to undress later? What, leibchen, is not to like about this, neh?
[He is also an Eastern Europan Victorian Male, and likes round, curvy, lush ladies. Ilsa will be soooo pretty in scarlet, too: it will go with her coloring!]

[ She's bundled against the cold, even in the house. ]
We need more information from that time, and we only find out who might talk about that time after they're dying.

[Chuckles, hoping he got the humor right.]

You will look very round and luscious. I will have to put you in red, so I can find you in the snow and admire you: my great, rosy holly berry!

[ She shivers. ] It'll be more fun when the bedroom is warm again.

We can do a lot to take care of that right now, Schatzi.
