Bio:

He has never wanted anything but to live his life quietly, doing his job and helping people. At first, medical school seemed the way to go, but he soon realised that this wasn't what he wanted and he decided on becoming a paramedic instead. His life was normal and mundane, working his shifts, ripping out his hair over the paperwork, and with a hushed reverence for whoever invented the espresso machine and Red Bull.

Soon enough, he was partnered up with Peter Petrelli - great, another second-born from a rich family who wanted to slum it with the hoi polloi. He had seen and heard the older brother's inflammatory rhetoric in the various Iranian cafes he frequented when he had the time, and did his own share of jeering with the other patrons at the megalomaniacal jerkass looking to ride his way into a Presidential nomination on the coat tails of the "war on terror" - he was almost certain that many of the Persian suggestions he'd heard made weren't anatomically possible, but the good Senator was welcome to try them out. At first, he'd been aloof and distant with Petrelli, suspicious of the other man and only making the most token gestures of politeness, but soon realised that Peter was almost nothing like his elder brother - he didn't speak much about his family, but it wasn't hard to guess that they disapproved of him.

One day, just like any other, he went out on the ambulance to answer a call. He opened the door to the lobby of the apartment block, and went looking for Flat 104... only this block stopped at the eighth floor. Pissed off at the hoax call, he yanked the door open again... and when he looked outside, his ambulance was gone, the homes around had completely changed... what the HELL?!

He began wandering around this strange new world, wondering what was going on and whether the long hours on little to no sleep had finally snapped his mind. Or maybe it was some sort of weird caffeine poisoning.
