nifty little updates....
so i haven't updated at all recently. my bad. i've been really busy, which really sucks. i've had school, work, and bowling.... in addition to trying to sleep. stuff like that. i still don't have my license.... probably won't happen this year, or so it appears... on the upside, i have a boyfriend. ish. i mean, there's nothing really official, but at the same time, there is.... it sounds more complicated than it is. i promise. lol.
so i started working on this blanket that i've been trying to get done for like 3 years now... i'm making good progress. pretty sweet. i just had to get a new skein of yarn for it, which is always good. more sweet.
i'm hopefully going to get to see Hanson in Chicago in November, unless it proves to be too expensive for me and Carrie.... i really want to go. seriously. i haven't seen them for over 5 years. it was 5 years on October 24th. ugh.
i haven't taken my SAT yet. hopefully mom mailed in my registration form today... yea, it was due today.... hahahah. nice. i'm not greatly happy about that, but shit happens. i still haven't turned in any college applications. however, i've filled out apps for IPFW and Ball State, so i'll be giving those to my guidance counsellor soon, hopefully, so she can send them in.... the more i think about it, the more i might just stay in town and go to IPFW for a year or so and get an apartment so i can get the hell out of this house. plus, hell, if i find the right type of place, i might adopt a cat.... lol. Carrie's friend Paige has these two adorable little cats, Mojo and Otis... they're sooooo cute! i told Paige i was going to kidnap Mojo... he's a little white and gray kitten-type with a sploch of gray right on the tip of his nose. so cute.
i really can't believe i'm going to be 18 in a little over a month. that's really frightening. Sean's going to be 20 in.... i think we settled on 4 days. really scary. Megan's going to be 20 in a little over 2 months. hellishly scary. :-)
so work last night kinda sucked, but it was a lot of fun at the same time. i was on cut. all night. i was supposed to be on specials. Megan and i were both on at 4, so Ron stuck me on cut/specials and Megan on roll/make, with the promise that Megan would be up on cut at 5. yea. she finally got up there at 6:30, i think.... we got rather busy, so Janet was helping me do cut/specials. pretty sweet. Megan got stuck on specials and i stayed on cut. all night. on a Thursday. guh. and i learned cut cleanups. so i have a feeling they're going to randomly schedule me on cut on a non-busy night.... to give me more "practice". ugh.
