It's so wierd. Now there is a craigslist for my city, as of yesterday. It is all people offering housing for Katrina victims. Im glad they finally added our city and I am happy people are really stepping up. I am actually sooo suprised at the number of people offering their houses to the families in need.
I know Im not in the worst part of this, but it's still so close. It's like Im in a Mad Max movie or something.
30 miles from me a man shot his sister point blank in the forehead for a bag of ice. A BAG OF ICE. He is just as bad as the people shooting at the helecopters trying to save people in New Orleans. LIKE THEY CARE IF YOUR LOOTING. I saw a cop laugh at a kid carrying a tv through the water.
Im just glad we got a full tank of gas the day before the hurricane. We still have a 1/2 tank thank god, because there are only 2 stations in this town with gas, and they only have premium and 3 hour lines.
Time to start riding my bike full time.
and then time to move....
