I love christmas cookies the most, I cannot deny it. Guilty as charged.
I got a WACOM tablet and it kicks ass to a biblical proportion. I can draw on my computer so maybe I shall design the new Silent Hill movie poster, their having some contest for it. I also go Hellsing vol.5,6 and 7. Seven is the coolest. Seras Victoria FINALLY manifests into the sexy beast she was meant to be. spoiler.
My grandmother and I had a heated discussion about Quakers and spirituality. It was interesting to say the least. She goes on and on about Buddhism and Karma. She uses Karma a lot. Then she talked about granddad's death and how quakerism helped her so I shut up. But it felt really...bad when she brought out the picture of my granddad at new years and put his portrait on the coffee table. "Merry Christmas Lloyd, we all miss you and I love you."
It shouldn't have been a problem for me, but I felt really uncomfortable. My grandmother never did anything like that before. I think she's starting to go in her mind. I kept thinking about Chelsea's grandfather today and how strange it felt when mine died. I was very close to him and he kinda served as a median between my grandmother and the rest of the family. He was always very jovial and relaxed. I guess I still miss him, even after all of these years. People talk about healing, but it always leaves a gaping hole.
In a sense, a part of me died with him.
