Life as a gigolo...

Ahh... It feels so nice to be back at home after 4 days of standing at an exhibition, trying to look as attractive as possible. What is on exhibition? Myself of course! Oops... I meant my company's product. :-P

Yes, my company participated in one of the electronics exhibition in Barcelona and I have been there since last Sunday. It was nice at first, because it is my first time there afterall and I've yet to participate in a large scale exhibition like these before. What I had before was only for my university, certainly not international level. I've met many many people during this exhibition and they're very friendly. ^_^

As day goes by, I began to feel really tired after each day of exhibition. We had a fully packed schedule during the day and night as well. My day practically began from 7.30am until 12.00am, being at the exhibition centre as well as out for dinner. But it is a great experience for me to be able to learn how multi-national corporations handle things, and get to know many many people from different companies, competitors and partners.

One thing that I regret/sad for not being able to do is to walk around Barcelona and snap photos. Barcelona is such a wonderful city. Although is it not the capital of Spain, but it certainly is the tourism centre/entertainment city. People in Spain rarely sleeps. Even when its 1am in the morning, you can still see many people walking about the famous street, La Rambla. If you're into cultural, Barcelona will surely tantalize your taste buds because it is jam-packed with it. Its fiesta every day, every night. Street performers are everywhere, every corner of the streets.

And of course, how could we forget about specialty food in different cities/countries. In Spain, the famous food would be the "Paelas", which is actually rice that are cooked with meat, seafood, vegetable. There are several versions of this paelas, some are dry, some are moist, some are cooked with chicken, some are cooked only with veggie. The best place to eat in Barcelona would be the "7 Portes", which means 7 ports. This restaurant is abit run-down, but so famous that when we reached there without reservation, the queue was a few hundreds metre long. :-P But nonetheless, we still waited for our turn to dine in this restaurant just to try the famous paelas.

There's still so many things that I wanna do in Barcelona but didn't have the chance because of work. :-( Nevermind, I shall visit there again, but this time its for holiday. Keke...
