OMG! I'm so happy today... My big boss has counter-offered me to work with them in Europe, most probably in Italy. I was so excited the moment he asked me that, even now I'm still excited about it. I mean, how often do we get offer to work in other countries? Furthermore, my company will provide me with accommodation, and car as well (according to my big boss-lah, not so sure about this). And they'll be paying me allowances for food. The problem now is, I'm not sure what is the average expenses there. I mean, how much would meals for a day cost, miscellaneous expenditure, etc. My big boss has asked me how much would I need/request from them. Well, the amount shouldn't be too much, in case they can't afford to pay/hire me, and I'll lose my chance of working in overseas. My working schedule would be like this, every 5 months in Europe, I'll come back here for a month. Then will go back to Europe again. So I get to come back to my hometown only twice a year (but on company's expense). But of course all these are still under discussion, so better not put too high hopes on it. ^_^
So, if its real, what should I do? How much should I request for allowances, as I've not been there before? :-P
On the bad side, I would have to do my own cooking, cleaning, washing and ironing. *wails* I have to take care of myself. How can I survive without my mom being there for me. :-P Well, she's the one doing all the worrying for me, now that I've told her about this offer. She was telling me that I need to learn cooking from her, etc. LOL... :-P Well, she could always come and visit me while I'm staying there. ^_^
