Deeparaya - Double Happiness. Happy! Happy! Happy!
I've spent last weekend over in Singapore for an event held by Happy. I drove down to Singapore alone as a last minute plan and stayed at Amara Hotel. I started off my journey very early in the morning at 6am. I didn't know I could make it to Woodlands Checkpoint in less than 3 hours and 15 minutes. Hehe... And yes, I was driving at a NORMAL speed. No speeding leh... :-P
After getting through the custom and got my car an autopass, I head down to city via BKE (Bukit Timah Expressway) to check into hotel. I got off track somewhere in Orchard as I tried to take a short cut, bypassing the ERP. :-P But I've somehow manage to join back to the original route that I'm suppose to take. Reached the hotel quite early and they have not gotten my room ready yet. So I went to walk around Chinatown and bought my mum a retro/funky purse for only SGD5. ^_^ After that, I checked into the hotel and rested for awhile. Went downstairs to O'Briens Cafe to meet a friend for chit-chatting, Jermyn, who happens to have just woke up after partying the whole night before. Such a pig, horr?!! :-P Hehe... Then he dropped me off at Orchard Road so that I can go to Fitness First Paragon to gym and meet up with Jared and Emeric. I was suppose to meet CJ and his friends too, but by the time I got to Starbucks, California Gym, they've already went to Takashimaya. So sorry for not being able to meet up, babe. :-(
Worked out in the gym for about 2 hours before I parted with Jared and Emeric to meet Colin in Harvey Norman, Raffles's Plaza. He's working there as a sales coordinator and he sells me a set of cordless keyboard and mouse, Logitech Cordless MX Duo at staff price. Thanks, dude. He's enjoying his work there and doing fine. After that I went back to the hotel to rest and shower before going to Double Happiness part 1. Then I make my way to Happy, collected my pre-ordered tickets and went in. Happy is really a nice place. The design is nice and spacious. Some of the designs reminds me of Centro, especially the DJ station and the bar area. There's another new bar too which is just above Happy. Its call Mox and its quite similar to Frangipani in KL but this has a 60s/retro look. The party on Saturday night isn't really that nice. So we left early that night cause tomorrow will be another long day.
I woke up at about 10.30am on Sunday and get ready to go Orchard for big shopping. Gosh! I bought so many things that I've burned a hole in my wallet. So how? How to mend it now? :-P Then I met up with Jared and Emeric after I've done with my shopping for the day. We then head back to Emeric's house to freshen up because we're invited to a private birthday party being hosted by his friend, Alan to celebrate their friend who is 20-years old that night. We all had homemade popiahs which we wrapped it ourselves, then we had porridge and also cheesecake. Was so full. Thanks very much to the wonderful hosts, and to Emeric as well for inviting us there. ^_^ We stayed there till 11.30pm before we head to Happy for the Double Happiness part 2. Happy on Sunday night is much much better than any other night. Perhaps its because the crowd there and the music resembles Centro and which is also why I like it. Hehe... :-)
We partied till 2am before I got completely drunk and just passed out. I can remember vaguely what happened, but not the details. I was so drunk that I refuse to leave and was being carried out of Happy. Once I'm outside, I started to puke all the alcohol that I've consumed. *sob sob* I don't think I wanna do that again cause its tiring to puke leh. Kekeke... :-P I was being escorted by Emeric, Gallent and Danny back to my room, and I just slept/knocked out. By the time I woke up, it was already 10am the next day. Hehe... I can still remember when they tried to carry me out of Happy, I refuse and was kicking and tossing. Created a bit of drama there. *blush blush* Arrgghhh!!! How to show my face in Happy again after this? I will NOT go to Happy ever again... :-P Hehe... Just joking! I love Happy. How could I not wanna go there again? :-P Hehe... Thanks for taking care of me, everyone especially to Emeric and his friends, and also Shao Ann and Jimmy, etc. Sorry if I was being a nuisance yeah. Will not do that again.
I checked out at around 1pm then went to Orchard for more shopping. Shopping theraphy mah... To make up for not being able to party completely yesterday. Hehe... :-P I think I've burned a bigger hole in my wallet already. :-( Then Jared and Emeric came over to the hotel and Jared followed my car back to KL cause he missed his afternoon bus. We left Singapore at about 6pm and head back to KL with traffic jams on our way back.
Thank you very much to everyone, and this has been a great weekend in Singapore and also Happy. Hope that Happy would be taking over Centro's place as the prime place for Sunday night clubbing, then I'll make my way to Singapore as often as possible (I like the idea of doing so) Kekeke...
