Event (With Yuusei)

*Sat in the garage at a desk, Rally is playing around with some of the stuff he's gotten from the junkyard. In particular, he's trying to fix new wheels onto an otherwise scuffed up looking old skateboard.
A perfect time for him to be bothered obviously!*

Yuusei approaches the desk. "Hey Rally."

*Rally's face lights up as he sees Yuusei.*

Yuusei!

*He then picks up the skateboard he's working on to give Yuusei a better look*

I found this old wheeless skateboard today and figured I could fix it up since I have a whole bunch of random wheels I've found stored here! A bit of paint and it'll look as good as new!

Yuusei holds the skateboard for a second and looks it over. He spins one of the wheels Rally put on with his finger. He seems impressed. "That's great, Rally."

"Listen. There's something I wanted to talk to you about."

*Rally looks at Yuusei curiously*

What about?

"You enjoy dueling, right?"

[oo_itsatrap_oo]

Of course! Who doesn't?

[shooting_sonic]

"Well...I remembered what you said about going to school, and I thought about it."

He pulls out a pamphlet - it's for Duel Academy. "You're about the right age for this. I think you should consider it."

*Rally's expression drops a little, as he slowly takes the pamphlet from Yuusei to take a look at it*

Yeah... I said I didn't really want to go to a school, I wanted to stay here and help you with stuff.

*He reads the pamphlet over at least, he seems very unsure what to make of it though*

"I'm gone most of the day doing repairs already. If you went here, we could still work together on the nights and weekends. There's a train that goes between the school and here."

"This place...is different from Satellite. I know it hasn't been as long for you, but I've been here for two years now. I don't...know when we'll be able to go back."

"I've seen this place a few times, and Aki goes there. It's a good school."

*Rally stays silent as he listens to Yuusei's words while he stares down at the pamphlet in his hand. He knows what he's telling him makes sense. He's often alone during most of the day at the apartment while everyone is at work/school... so maybe this wouldn't be so bad.*

Hmmm... if you think I'll like this place then I guess I could give it a shot.

[shooting_sonic]

"Alright. They have an office in the city, we can go there tomorrow."

"You'll probably have to take a written exam and duel a proctor as well."

*Rally looks up at Yuusei and gives him a small smile*

Okay, Yuusei.
...guess I better make sure my deck is ready for that.
