FRIGHTENED RABBIT ARE COMING TO AUSTRALIA!!!

as you all know, they are my fav band but i can't get the tickets til i get to dads later this arvo. if i dont get them mind, it won't be soul crushing or anything because it is one of my 'things to do when i go to scotland'. i think it's right under 'trick scotsman to have sex with me' so i'll defs be able to cross that one off later i suppose.

it's crazy though, coz they're in sydney the night after the laura marling/johnny flynn/boy and bear concert on the monday i go back to uni. suffice to say, this semester is already looking like one where i'm just gonna coast through and if i don't swap uni's again for next year it will be a miracle. or i will have made friends.

at any rate, the enrolment debarcle seems to be going ok now. at first they put me down for primary teaching (me and maths are never a good combo) and i made 'em change it to secondary. i don't think it really matters seeing as i'm just doing my b.a. majors at the moment anyway so i can transfer to that degree and have most of it already done.

sigh. i really don't know why i just don't like uni. it's better than any of the other options i have right now (read: i have no other options right now) so i guess i'm stuck with it. i have to go down next monday to complete my enrolment, but i also need to find my old student card. special thanks to lisa for pointing out it will cost me $12 to get a new one so yeah, better rifle through my old wallets.

a part of me wonders if this would have all been easier if i went to usyd. another part knows it would have been drop dead simple to just stay at newcastle until the end of the year. but that part has to concede i would have shot myself before the end of the semester, esp if i was trying to do it all at ourimbah campus. no offence ourimbah, i love that you're closer but you're definitely not as uplifting as callaghan. even then, that whole uni just gives me bad vibes.

i should probably go and get dressed for the day, but mum and her friend kathleen are hanging out on the top balcony which is right next to my room so i'd find that creepy if i went up there now. oh here they come. time to go.
