welshbard, this is mostly for you, but I thought other people might enjoy it, too. (You may already know about it, but just in case you don't... :-)
BBCA has a TV show that came out of a blog and podcast, called The Nerdist (apparently quite popular, I managed to miss it until it was a TV show). Chris Hardwick is the host, and it's just a half-hour chat show about all things Nerderiffic.
Here's the posting of the new episode, with guests Wil Wheaton, Nathan Fillion, David Tennant, and a handful of others. It was really fun to watch.
