"Regarding the mosque near ground zero, I say let them build it.
But across the street, we should put a topless bar, called "You Mecca Me Hot". Next to that, a gay bar called "The Turban Cowboy" and next to that, a pork-rib restaurant called "Iraq o' Ribs"? And a check cashing center called ......"Iran out of money" Let's see who's really tolerant!"
I can't even reply to this..... doing such a thing wouldn't prove tolerance it would prove americans being ignorant and abrasive but when someone mentions it calling Them 'intolerant'
This mosque near ground zero makes me made. They legally own the land they can do with it as they like. And really does it mater where it is in NY? stupid americans will still be stupid even if it was miles away, the pentagon (which was also hit) - which i know my lj friends know but above mentioned stupid americans forget had a mosque in it.
Proving tolerance is about accepting all people as valid equal individuals regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or education.
Unfortunately america once again you FAIL
