I don't get it. Really I don't. I don't give a damn about which character is sharing sheets and swapping fluids with whom. Gay, straight, interracial, interspecies, pansexual or autoerotic, but for the love of carnal acts can we please pour a bit of reality into the stories that have a strong sex ( Read more... )

Those are polemics without moderation. Whichever niche they happen to write in gives some sort of reward-feedback which is enough to encourage more.

Seeing and acknowledging that you are trapped within a sequence of thought
processes that encourage a non-reality based evocation of ideas and then changing your behavior to be more in line with reality (rational thought) is beyond many people. It is one of the most difficult things that you can ever do.

"I belive X is right and my mandate and I will never deviate from it. I will expose it without recourse to facts, logic, good sense." This can be cloaked/hidden by the believer to the point they do not know they are doing it.

Some are ensconced within that paradigm and it controls what they see, feel and believe. They can't change while within it without something that damages or destroys that paradigm. That destruction can only come from them though it may be triggered by an external influence.

If they get enough positive feed back for their output it will reinforce their belief system and armor them against change.

If this isn't fuzzy enough I can add more buzz words as appropriate.
