Feshmackered

I was feshmackered yesterday. It just turned into a ridiculously long day, and it was by no-one's design but my own. I had tafe, so that took up 9 until 3, after that I headed to my mothers. She's been sick for a few days, so I thought I'd be a good daughter and go and do the housework for her. She appreciated that.

I know, I'm a suck. But when I was a kid, she held my hair out of my face while I puked, and changed my diapers. Therefore, vacuuming and cleaning seems like a fair trade. After that I headed out. I had a meeting with the Copyright board... I've just been brought on to research ccli licensing for a church. It was a long night. They are so breaking the law, and it's my job to fix them.

I left the house yesterday at 8.30 and got home at 10.30, after which I fell into bed and lay there semi-conscious until my husband came home from work. Then I roused my self into semi-alertness, asked him about his day, made a minimal amount of small talk and then proceeded to retreat into slumber.

And it felt great.

Today I got a phone call about a job I applied for ages ago. Applications closed a month ago so I thought it was all over, but they were really just being slack. It's for a trainee optical dispenser. I'd hate to give up TAFE, especially now that I really enjoy the course, but if I get it, it would be stupid not to take it.

We'll see.

I really like some of the people in my class. It's weird, coz I'm such a youngin, but I really get on with the girls who are like, 35 and 40. Which, to be fair to me, is most of the class.

My younger sister will be here soon, I'm helping her with her math homework, because I am the font of all knowledge. It's OK, I get chocolate out of the deal.

So, hopefully this made up for yesterday's NON post.

And I said goodbye to you, goodbye to everything that I knew

Onyx
