Fun for the whole family!
It's Christmas time again. Don't get me wrong, I heart Christmas. But the annoying shit is working out when to visit family. Because of the whole "In Law's" thing. For Christmas we'll be having lunch with my folks, as is tradition. Then the Mother In Law (MiL) and Father in Law (FiL) also want to see us. On Christmas Day. And the catch is, that they are separated and don't want to see us together. So we said, fine, come down and see us anytime. But the MiL and FiL don't want to come to the Gong, they want us to go there which is a big fat pain in my ass. So now we have to fit in my parents, a trip from the Gong to Parramatta to see the MiL and then Parra to Penrith to see the FiL before we head home.
It is NOT FUCKING ON.
*Note for American Readers*
I know you don't know where Parramatta and Penrith are, or the relative distance between Wollongong and either of these places. But the fact of the matter is, it's too fucking far to drive on one day after big meals and toxins in the chicken that make you sleep, and the whole double demerit holiday thing.

TAFE finished today. Very damn impressed with myself. Everything that was pass/fail I passed, and all the graded subjects (fail/pass/credit/distinction) I got distinctions in. So I am becoming quite the competent headshrinker. Apparently I'm the only person in the course ever to use Harry Potter as a reference text in culture studies. Surprised? I used it to argue the fact that people shouldn't be limited to making films about their own culture. Because seriously, who the FUCK would be able to write about shit like HP and LoTR? Know any real life hobbits?
I'm in love with Hugh Jackman. The Prestige. Good flick. Good Hugh. But there is no BAD Hugh, ever. Even when he's being a total poof in The Boy from Oz (not a dis, because Peter Allen IS gay), I was still in love with him. All I'm gonna say is: Wolverine, baby.
