Mercy Mercy Mother of God.
I've been away. And there is a very valid reason. It seems as though my theory of computers being demon spawn is not just a theory. Because last Monday, my video card died, and subsequently killed my computer. Then I took it to be repaired, and picked it up again, plugged it in AND THE FUCKER WAS STILL BROKE. Took it back to the guru and then he upgraded the video card and it's better now. I get hot slash in the blink of an eyelid! MWAHAHAHAHA.
The only unfortunate thing was that I was supposed to email a lecturer with a group plan last Wednesday... so instead I called her and said... "OMFGWTF??" And she understood.
It's depressing that I found it hard to survive in an internet-less world.
My brother's birthday went off swimmingly.
I made a dangerous friend last Tuesday. Very very dangerous. Not in a homicidal/psychotic way. Or in a criminal hijinks way. It's more of a "If I wasn't married, I'd probably shag you" way. Pretty fucking dangerous.
greenovalfruit recently posted an icon in her lj that said "I [heart] me some Emily Deschanel." SO DO I. Fuck I love that show. I actually have read quite a few of Kathy Reichs' books, so when I became aware that Bones was about Temperance Brennan... SWWWEEEEET. And yay for the hotness of the aforementioned Deschanel.
David Boreanaz is still hot in my book. GOD YES.
I'm still in love with Grey's Anatomy. It's JUST SO GOOD. I kind of love Izzie. But I still have to say, Sandra Oh rocks my socks. Or she would if I wore them. I rarely do.
I've seen some footage of S3 House... CAMERON'S HAIR?!!!! They cut it. At times, it looks shithouse. But sometimes it's pulled back just right, or it's sitting well... and it looks hot. I'm conflicted.
West Coast Eagles just won the AFL premiership. I'm a little disappointed. Sydney Swans girl, after all.
Melbourne Storm to win the NRL premiership tomorrow! They've been the best fucking team in a LONG LONG time. Bar the 1981 Newtown Jets!!! GO THE JETS!
And in other sporting news... it's impossible for my baseball team, The Minnesota Twins, not to make the playoffs. They're tied with the Detroit Tigers for top of their division AND on the Wildcard ladder. GO TWINS!
