(no subject)
I found my desk! It exists somewhere under my computer apparently. In the process I have however lost my floor. Seems I can only have one or the other at the moment. Eh. I'll work it out eventually so I have both (I'll probably lose the ceiling or something else equally crazy and unlikely).
Finally sorted out issue relating to car accident from last week. Had replaced my headlight for a total of $38.50. Scratches to other lady's car? $688.97, dropped to $640.00 because it is paid in cash. Seriously, minor scratch = massive repair bill. It wasn't even dented. *shrugs* Honestly less than I was expecting, and the lady's been cool enough to not go through insurance, so that saves me a bit.
It appears I need to chat much more with my neighbour's lady friend. She has the most awesome tasting recipes that she's more than willing to share with me. Yays for awesome recipes!
Ben is 18 in less than two weeks. *insert the holycrapifeelsoincrediblyold stuff here* I've managed to do his presents on the cheap. He gets Babe and Casper on dvd (both were priced at $15.99 each, got both for $18.00) and Out Run 2006 ps2 game (for $15.00). And a card. Do you know how difficult it is to find a card that says something about being 18 and doesn't mention booze, sex, or other things that you're now apparently legal to do? Crazy difficult.
Oh.... And that whole not touching alcohol thing? I sadly lasted a day. Will try harder now, or at least try to have it less often than before. I think that is a more realistic goal right now.
