So the problem with being in class with the cartoonists means that you get the terrible, terrible in-jokes:

I suspect all those long words probably mean something.

OTOH, it's always possible that they're related to literary criticism, which means they could aggressively mean nothing.

On a side note, I never did like Chomsky.

You know, it's not an equal trade. I don't know who gets the sharp end, but it's definitely not an equal trade, though you should still go ahead and take linguistics. 301, though, will only serve to almost-prepare you for the theories upon which matt will expound. (I'm a Japanese and a Ling major, so... yeah...)
