The original wallpaper wasn't good enough
Why? Because I found Yuuko and HImawari done in the same style, so I figured they must have Doumeki and Watanuki in the sporty style and I could have a grand ensemble.
True: They do have Doumeki and Watanuki drawn in a similar style.
True: It's a real pain to find a decent copy of it.
So, the Tsubasa characters are drawn more like the comic style, whereas the xxxHolic characters are drawn more arsty (and thus have more color and more depth) ... I kinda fixed this is a layer of white to dull down the Holic characters, but it only worked so well. I'd tried adding shading to the Tsubasa characters, and it was just going to be a major pain, so I said screw that.
I'm pretty happy with the finished product.
