DOTM :B
Weeeeeell... what can I say? XD I won't lie. I went into the cinema theatre with inordinately low expectations - even for a Michael Bay film. I was already expecting it to be bad, and the many criticisms of the movie that seemed to spread across the interwebs pending it's release didn't help things none. So yeah, I went in - aware of spoilers, aware of the general plot. And you know what? :| I... kind of... liked it...
Maybe it's because, after the second movie, I knew this time the plot, characters, dialogue, and basic story would suck. I really hated ROTF, but after some time, realised the problem wasn't with the movie. It was me. I went in expecting a well structured story, interesting characters, and humans not dominating 96% of the screentime. I was in the wrong.
So this time when I went in, I held no expectations at all. And it paid off!! :D I actually enjoyed it. All I did was sit back, relax, and enjoy the destruction of humanity. :3 Now I won't lie, even with all their flaws, the last two movies had two things going for them that was just as beautifully done in DOTM - kickass action sequences and glorious giant robot violence. Though why must Michael Bay insist on awkward, stupid, asinine scenes which, for some reason, he thinks are funny but just leaves the audience feeling a little dirty on the inside. Whyyy? -.-;
But that annoyance aside. After emotionally separating myself from the plot and characters (well, the human ones anyway) I quite liked the film. :D

Good gods, how much did I pity Megatron throughout this whole movie? D: I mean... THE POOR GUY! Missing half his head and infested with robot-head-crab-zombies, no army, hiding out in the middle of nowhere. Then becoming Sentinel's bitch (OK. I kind of liked Carly, if only for that one line xD). He had such a hard time through this film, I was almost glad for when OP but him out of his misery at the end. ;___; Poor fello. (Also. Soundwave ish tiny~ <3333 *squees*)
I've also realised that nothing irks me more than watching prime characters (ala Starscream) get killed by humans. :| And Shockwave got beaten by a fucking parachute!! How does that work? D:
Last thing I'll say is this. The image of Optimus Prime flying into battle, all heroic and awesome, only to get stuck in the worlds strongest wires and just hang there... having to be cut free by the others.... That shall remain in my heart forever more. <333
