Casting and new show!
My friend and I have gotten some thorough experience in casting work this week! We're doing a short film for a final video project this year and held auditions Tuesday and today - we didn't exactly get an overwhelming response from either, but we did discover that you get a far better response when posting an ad on an actors forum, rather than appealing to students of the college =S Makes sense though. Students are pretty busy getting stuff together for exams right about now, and actors are always looking for something new to ad to their CV - plus a lot seemed pretty interested in our story and script. So yays :D Hopefully we'll be able to decide on the cast next week, then start filming in the first week of May!
Oh, and apparently I'm the producer of this XD I'm actually liking it, believe it or not! I'm also starting to notice that you need to be organised as hell to manage the job. Luckily, I'm... well, relatively organised >,>; I may need to invest in a clipboard sometime in the near future. Hurm.
But yeah, that's coming along anyways. Need to work more on my Flash animation.... And subvertising assignment.... And interface design project. >_< *needs to get her shit together*
On another note, just watched the first episode of Game of Thrones 8DDD Awesome as heck!! Sean Bean is ridiculously lovable in it. No, I have no idea why! XD He just is. I also believe I'm developing a premature fangirlness for Jon Snow :p It's the hair damnit! So pretty~ <3

Though seriously. One episode in and I already need to give the show 100% of my attention, just so I don't miss anything @.@ So much shit happening at once!! The basic flow so far seems to proceed as violence / knight stuff / sex / king stuff / violence / sex / sex / sex / violence / sex / king stuff / sex. And maybe a bit more sex =B
But it's a kickass show! The atmosphere, costumes, set design, and acting is all amazing :D I'm kicking myself that I didn't find out about it sooner - so much of it was filmed in Northern Ireland, I could have gone up to check it out >.< Granted, I doubt I'd have been able to see much... But stil, GDIT!! =S
