Why my feet hurt?
Title says it all @.@ Urk. Let me just say. Trekking through town for several hours in Doc Marten boots? Not smart =.= Oh well. My feet are now recovering slowly in fluffy socks and super-snuggly bee-slippers - s'all good =p But why was I trekking you ask? Why, so I could throw around CV's at random of course >,> Boy was that disheartening! So many places aren't even accepting them. I mean, I anticipated that there would be few/hardly any places actively hiring new staff - but half the places seemed so exasperated if you so much as mentioned the word to them 0__0 Yikes.
Buuut! Though I printed off about 24 and only managed to get rid off seven, the day didn't feel like a total waste. Both New Look and Captain America's seemed pretty positive when I handed them my CV =D I'm basing this solely on the fact that they asked whether I wanted to work part-time or full-time... Damn you hopeful optimism! >_< But I'm going to keep handing them out. I really want to work - my CV is barren enough as is =S Plus I want to start a fund for BotCon, so I can finally GO! DX< *flails*
Anywho, in other news, me and my friend handed up our video assignment today! 8D The lecturer loved it, so we were plenty chuffed <3 Looking forward to starting the next one!
