I don't have any frame of reference for the grading system your college uses - how does that work?

Congrats on getting a grade you're pleased with, and that guy sounds like he gives really great feedback :D

As far as I know, it's pretty much based on a percentage framework. 40-59 is a third class honours, 60-69 is a second class honours, and 70+ is a first class honours. I'm just used to saying 70 marks rather than 70 percent, as that's what most out lecturers say =S

Thanks *hugs* :D And he is! He actually wrote a 1000 word feedback sheet for each groups' individual project - the first time I've gotten such in-depth feedback. It was extremely helpful =D

Ah, same as where I teach then. I just wondered 'cause of what you'd written. It's so awesome that your provisional grade is a first, but you know how you can improve. That absolutely rocks :D

It totally does :D Precise feedback is always a huge help, plus I really appreciate it when the lecturers take the time to assess work so thoroughly - no doubt it must take ages =S

Yeah! Though sadly, we'll have a different lecturer for video next semester =/ Ah well, so long as she's fair while marking and gives clear instructions in the assignment briefs, I'll be happy =p

I hope she is fair and clear. :)

And I hope that you can push your grades into the high 70s or 80s ;) *keeps fingers crossed*

Yes! And now that I've got a better idea of what needs to be improved on (and how to manage my time better), I think it may be quite doable :D

Thanks a lot! <3 *hugs*
