i love this. so. much. it just. i don't know??? it made me sad and nostalgic and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhadkljfalsfk. i love love love this. i can't reiterate it enough so i'm going to stop because this comment already sucks but hopefully if i'll stop you'll understand that i can't find eloquent words to describe how much i adore this.

RANDOM but this reminded me of that one madrid derby (um i don't remember which year or what the final score was...hahaha) where he.......okay i don't remember what he did HAHAHAH but then iker like rubbed his head all affectionately and fernando like smiled and gave him a pat AHHHHHH I LOVED IT. AHAHAHHAHA. i'm so pumped for tomorrow hahahahahha. i used to especially love madrid derbies bc i got to see fernando w/out having to watch atleti matches and having my uncles like angry at me that i would watch them HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. HAHAHAHAHA LOL i sound retarded.

ANYWAY BACK TO THE FIC. I LOVE IT.

also okay TO BE HONEST i like would rarely sit and watch the atleti matches but some days when i was bored i would...........HAHAHAHAHAHAH. they were sparce!!!!!!!!!!

also i'm pretty sure it was some sort of tackle on fernando or something in the box and he was arguing it or something and then iker went over and like rubbed his head??????? LOL IDR.....OR MAYBE IT WAS A SHOT FERNANDO TOOK ON IKER????? okay you're probably like "lol wtf at her" for this random tidbit of a memory and i can't even get it right!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA

i'm so happy with this derby. except for the handball but WHATEVER, we won so it's all good!!!!!!!!!! and i totally agree about liking the atleti game back when nando was playing, it was an excuse to watch him without feeling guilty! jajaja this is why i need bojan to get transferred away from barca. he's the only reason i watch them, ever, unless it's the clasico. and, you know, i'm not watching lately because of my curse. ANYWAY.

I REMEMBER THAT! it was a tackle but it didn't get called and nando was all mad and iker went and like. yeah, rubbed his head. kind of awkwardly because he's iker but oh well jajajajaja i think that was it anyway although there may have been more than one similar incident.

ohmygod. i love it. it's perfect!!!!

it made me feel all nostalgic about them, and i love the little flashback to fernando's first call up and how nervous he is. and how that changes when he meets sergio and he can just be himself.

Your Sernando fics warm my heart. You always capture those most important moments and turn them into lovely little stories. When you write Sergio and Nando, there's no need for them to be too physical with each other, to say too many words. It all just clicks and falls into the right places for them.

After the game, Sergio loops an arm, heavy and loose, around Fernando’s neck and directs his jokes and easy laughter at the striker instead of Casillas. Fernando blushes and awkwardly holds on to Sergio’s waist, unwilling to let him go, too afraid that if he does, Sergio and his innocence and his optimism will dissipate.
Fernando discovers that he isn’t the point of a knife around Sergio the way he is around Raul. Around Sergio, Fernando is just- Fernando.Sergio the extravert one (yes easy laughter, perfect!) and Fernando the shy, more introvert one who slowly opens up once he gets to know you better ( ... )
