A/N: Finally updated. My life is a mess. Lost my job, step mom died and I haven’t been feeling well. Taking advantage of the quiet to update the story.
All stood in silence outside their private train as a cloaked figure moved towards them. They fidgeted; some bit their lips while others tried to calm their racing hearts.
The stranger moved slowly and confidently; he smiled to himself knowing his reputation preceded him. He was Nosferatu, the Undead; better known as Dracula. He bowed deeply to his newly found companions and they returned the gesture.
“Well met my friends. Let us not stand on ceremony. I know the thought of traveling with a vampire makes you uncomfortable. That is natural. I assure you that I mean no harm to any of you. As a precaution, my loyal gypsies will be travelling with me. They will see to my needs. As for feeding, I have already made arrangements. You need not worry about me losing control.”
The vampire looked at Joong Ki and nodded. The wolfman knew what it was like to lose control. Perhaps Dracula’s gypsies were akin to his zombies; devoted servants who would ensure there were no “accidents.”
The vampire outstretched his hand to Kwon Ji Yong; the Phantom grasping the vampire’s gloved hand with a firm grip.
“You may call me Heechul; that is my given name. It’s more personal, don’t you think?”
The vampire wore a wicked grin as each of the companions shook his hand.
I’m very fond of your work,” he whispered in Leo’s ear; the man known for his crimes as Mr. Hyde quietly smiled back.
They boarded the train at the engineer’s insistence; Dr. Shim was eagerly awaiting them at Burg Frankenstein.
Dracula’s gypsies finished loading Heechul’s belongings including a coffin and several crates of what looked like wine.
“That’s my supply,” the vampire told his curious new friends.
The Invisible Man nodded.
“How very civilized of you.”
The two men chuckled as if they had known each other for many years.
The train started up with a jolt; gained steam and speed; the companions making their way to the dining car as Dracula followed his gypsies to make sure his coffin and cargo were secure.
“He has blood in wine bottles?” Shindong asked the Phantom.
G Dragon nodded.
“Be thankful he did otherwise one of us would surely have to sacrifice himself.”
The Immortal known as Kiseop gulped a shot of whiskey.
“That’s not even the slightest bit funny.”
Leo sat cross legged in a brocaded chair and sighed.
“Is it even possible for you to be turned? If you can’t die, then how can you become a vampire? I think of all of us, you have the least to worry about.”
Kiseop poured himself another drink.
“He can still feed off of me. Just think of it gentlemen; I am a perpetual source of fresh blood. He wouldn’t need to drain any of you.”
T.O.P. cleared his throat.
“Well, now that you put it that way, I guess you’re right. But I wouldn’t worry. Killing one of us would be bad form. I don’t think we need to stress over it.”
The cook came in to the dining car with steaming hot food. The six men sat down and began to enjoy their meal. The door to the car opened abruptly; all men stopped what they were doing; Dracula had joined them, bottle in hand.
“Please gentlemen, continue your meal. It doesn’t disturb me. I may not eat food any more, but it doesn’t bother me in the least to watch others enjoy it.”
All eyes were upon him as he popped the cork on his bottle of blood like it was champagne. They watched in horror as he poured it into a glass. Shindong swallowed hard and Kiseop felt his gorge rise. The only one not affected was the wolfman. He had the best and the worst of both worlds. In his human form he could enjoy the pleasures of fine cuisine; but when the beast overtook him, he feasted upon the flesh and blood of others.
T.O.P. shrugged his shoulders and continued to devour his steak. Reluctantly, his companions returned back to their meals save Kiseop who once again downed his whiskey in the blink of an eye.
The train’s whistle screamed out into the night as it chugged its way through the Hungarian countryside.
As Heechul slowly sipped the thick red liquid he whispered under his breath.
“Now we are seven.”
“Scales,” Kyung murmured; he has scales.”
Junsu stood motionless in his monster form; the members of Block B gently touching his skin. They did not see the jealous look on Yoochun’s face as they fondled the brightly colored scales of his lover’s body.
“Well Junsu, you are most welcome,” Professor Geng spoke while he vigorously shook the Creature’s hand.
Reverend Choi joined in the conversation.
“We were worried about you Yoochun. We thought something terrible had happened to you.”
The Prince smiled and bowed to Siwon.
“Hem Netjer, I am glad that you were thinking of me. I am just so overjoyed to be reunited with Junsu.”
The Creature returned to his human form; he blushed as his new found friends dressed him in a simple garment. He wasn’t used to such treatment.
“Junsu,” you must become accustomed to your new surroundings and the new world. Much has changed. We will help you.”
The Creature nodded and smiled; the boys from Block B setting about to prepare a meal for the Prince and his lover. They did not bat an eyelash in front of the couple, but in private they raised their eyebrows.
“This job gets stranger every day boss,” Taeil spoke freely.
Zico sighed.
“Hang in there guys, I have a feeling things are going to get even weirder.”
As the evening waned at Burg Frankenstein; a lone figure stared out of a giant bay window. Shim Changmin sipped his coffee; the young evil genius was proud of himself. He had brought life to two creatures and now he would bring together the greatest of all the monsters and fiends that humanity feared. All that was needed were the two stragglers whose whereabouts were closely guarded. But Changmin wasn’t worried; he had a plan for everything. Nothing would stop him from ruling the world.
As the sun set and the moon rose; Yoochun and Junsu slumbered. But it was not a peaceful rest for the Prince. He tossed and turned upon his bed; slender fingers grasping his pillow as if he was clinging for life. His moans did not wake Junsu who dozed soundly. A mist formed upon the pool; it rose eerily from the gently lapping waves and took shape. Ghostlike, it flew across the water and hovered over the Prince; a mesmerizing voice emanating from its gaseous form.
“Come to me, Yoochun. Come to me now.”
The Prince awoke gasping for air. He sat up and opened his eyes; eyes that glowed a bright red.
“Yes Master,” he said in a monotone voice; “I hear and obey.”
Kiseop nearly jumped out of his skin as he thought he heard strange voices coming from down the corridor of the train. He opened the door to his private compartment and looked both ways. Satisfied that it was only the wind howling, he went back to bed.
Kim Heechul smiled as he crawled inside his coffin.
