That night not a cloud appeared in the sky.  A young angel stood at his post, his figure illuminated by the brightness of the moon.

He was blissfully unaware that he was being watched; watched by a creature with the eyesight of a hawk.   Across the chasm that lead to the borderlands, the demon Yoochun spied the solitary angel.  Derelict in his duties, the sleepy angel leaned against a post; boredom taking it’s toll.  Why was he here?  Demons wouldn’t dare attack Heaven.  But all was not right.  He didn’t sense it, not at first; he went about his business pacing back and forth, spear in hand, ready to sound the alarm should their realm be invaded.

The demon smiled.

“He hasn’t seen me,” he told himself as he dared to take a peak.

He swallowed hard as he gazed upon the young angel.  He was beautiful, like the poor creature who he had seen as a child.  He had a jovial face framed by long blonde locks.

More nights and days passed as the pit fiend studied his prey. Days turned to weeks as the demon found himself observing the creature; memorizing every feature, every curve.  The angel seemed sturdy, almost plump.  The more Yoochun watched him, the more he began to feel uncomfortable.

“Angels are powerful,” he remembered Toad telling him once.

“They have the power to steal one’s soul.”

The demon’s mind raced.  Weakened by hunger and cold, he thought about flying home.  How could he capture an angel if he was starving?

Every night the angel sang, interrupting the demon’s thoughts; his sweet voice filling the demon’s ears, driving him mad.  Yoochun trembled as the creature stretched its neck.  The demon quivered as his eyes made out the line of the angel’s jugular vein;  he could almost sense the pulsing of blood within it.

Instinctively, he licked his lips; he had heard tales of how delicious angel blood was; in his fevered, weakened state he imagined sliding his fangs into the angel’s neck and feasting upon the warm liquid; he envisioned it filling his mouth and dripping down the back of his throat.

Yoochun groaned as his thoughts ran away from him; the imagined pleasure of devouring his foe sending sensations throughout his body.  He lost control; falling into a trance, the demon grew hard and heavy between his legs.  His wings spread as he staggered back against the cliff face; he came, and came hard; seed spilling upon the ground.  Fangs bit his lower lip in a failed attempt to silence his screams.  They broke the skin, but also broke the silence of the night.  His lust betrayed him; for he was not the only creature with the eyes and ears of a hawk...

He had seen something; heard something; what was it?  A whisper perhaps?  A voice in the night?  It sounded like a voice.  There, on the edge of their realm.  He heard it, and for a moment, he thought he saw something; a silhouette; a shadow; a ghostly spectre on the horizon.

He shivered.

The angel knew what he saw, but no one would believe him.  The shadowy figure could be only one thing; a demon!

They were bold and daring, but none of them had ever ventured this close.  The angel had thought about bringing his suspicions to the Great Council, but he hesitated.  They had laughed at others in the past who had suggested the demons were encroaching upon the high peaks.  He was young, a novice; what chance did he have of convincing them that they were being spied upon?

Deeds would win their favor, not words.  He would investigate this sighting himself.  He would capture the foul beast and bring him to justice.  With spear in hand, he abandoned his post; spreading his magnificent plumed wings, he took a deep breath and flew into the air; soaring high; his blonde locks flowing in the wind.

He drifted across the great chasm determined to verify what he saw and perhaps gain the confidence of the Great Council; something that he desperately wished for.

The angel nearly gasped as his suspicions were confirmed.  There, below on a craggy rock, a demon stood beside a lonely tree.  The angel dared to land;  foolish, foolish creature; his curious nature clouding his judgment. Aware of his presence, the demon, now recovered from the throes of rapture, smiled wickedly as he spread his ominous wings.

“What is that I smell?” a deep and raspy voice growled as the creature moved forward.

The angel staggered backwards, almost falling off the cliff; loose bits of rock and stone tumbling downward.

The demon sniffed the air, mocking the actions of an animal.  His clawed feet scraped into the ground; head held up high; he called out into the night like a primal beast, catching the young angel off guard.

“Did I frighten you, angel?”

The angel stood his ground despite his fear.

“I’m not frightened,” he lied.

The demon laughed.

“You smell of fear angel; it’s an odor I am quite familiar with.”

The young angel swallowed hard.  He narrowed his eyes and spoke softly.

“And what is that I smell?  There is a faint hint of angel that surrounds you.  Could it be the lock of hair on your belt?”

The angel pointed a slender finger at the braid of Lilith’s hair.

Yoochun scowled.

“I smell a half-breed female on your skin.  Your mate perhaps?”

The angel inhaled deeply.  There was another scent upon the air.  The angel wrinkled his nose.

The demon reeked of semen.

“Foul creature, why have you come to this place?  Get thee hence.  Return to the abyss or face the wrath of Heaven.”

A spear was thrust towards him, the demon easily grasping it; but the angel lost his footing and slipped; both beings falling off the cliff together; the two enemies still holding on to the spear.  Their bodies spiralled downward, crashing against the mountain side until they hit solid ground.  Bruised and battered, they attempted to crawl away from each other.  The angel reached for his spear but it was no use; broken by the fall, it had shattered into pieces.

“You are defenseless,” the demon sneered as he wiped blood from his nose.  You’ve made a critical error.  You are on my territory now.  It is you who must face the wrath of Hell.”

The demon lunged forward, fangs penetrating the angels skin; the creature struggled but soon grew weak and could no longer resist.  Yoochun’s senses flooded as the angelic blood trickled down his throat. Intoxicating at first, it was like nothing he could have imagined.  He became greedy, and soon forgot about his orders to bring the angel to his lord and master.  He opened his eyes and watched as the angel shed bitter tears.  Sensing the creatures end, he stopped and retracted his fangs.  The angel slumped and lay still; only the slow rise and fall of his chest signalled that he still clung to life.  The demon; his head swimming and vision blurred, watched his victim through narrowed eyes.  Breathing hard, head pounding, the demon fell to his knees and tried to block out the pain that suddenly attacked him.

He had tasted too much.

It sent a shockwave through every fiber of his being. This was not how it was supposed to be. It was supposed to nurture him; empower him.  But this blood; this angelic life essence was tearing him apart. He leaned forward and heaved, bringing up the poisonous liquid.

“Fuck,” he moaned, as waves of nausea overtook him.

Unable to weather the storm inside his body, the demon collapsed; falling into unconsciousness next to the hapless angel.

Time passed; moments, minutes, hours; perhaps even days; they could not tell.  Too weak to  fight, the two enemies sat mere inches from each other on a narrow precipice.

Bodies bruised and broken, the demon was the first to speak.

“Your blood has poisoned me,” he spat; the angel managing to crack a smile.

“You should not have tasted it; your greed will be your undoing, fiend.”

The demon cackled.

“And your foolishness will be yours.”

The demon coughed up more blood.  He stared into the angel’s eyes and felt his body flush.  He groaned as he felt a stirring in his loins.

“Curse all angels,” he cried as another spasm shook his slender frame.

He managed to stand up; back against the cliff face.  The angel stared in disbelief as the demon grew hard.

“Filthy animal, why are you aroused?”

The demon laughed despite his pain.

“Don’t you know?  For days I’ve watched you, studied you; memorized every movement, every inch of you.  It’s what I do; I fight in the pits.  I look, listen and learn.  I know everything about you;  your eating habits, your sleeping patterns; the sound of your breathing and the beating of your heart.  Now your poisonous blood has infected me.  It is a disease that can only be cured by you.  You have fuelled the fire within me.  Your blood is pure magic; sorcery.  You call us evil?  You are the filthy ones.  You have perverted me.  My lust for your blood has turned to desire for you.  I must have you; now and forever you will be mine.”

The angel’s pulse raced as the creature approached him.

A set of full and swollen lips crushed against the angel’s mouth; the celestial being shuddering; he cursed himself as he succumbed to the demon’s madness; an unexpected wave of pleasure overtaking his body.

“Do not resist me,” a deep and raspy voice filled his head.  “You are mine.”

The angel wept as the demon before him toyed with his emotions; clawed, yet surprisingly gentle fingers traced rivulets across his skin.  He was afraid and yet a part of him burned and ached for more.

The demon’s lust, fuelled by the magic of his blood was too much for the young angel; his innocence and purity was now threatened by a sudden inexplicable desire to be loved. The foul creature was possessed; and the angel was not just a prisoner of a deadly foe, but a foe who wanted something he dare not speak of; sex.

The demon’s tongue explored the warmth of the angel’s mouth; the celestial being forgetting who he was; his mind clouded; body responding in ways he did not comprehend.

“You are my enemy,” the angel gasped as the demon released him from the fiery kiss.

Breathless, the angel stared at the animal before him.

Caught off guard by the demon’s advances, the angel finally took a long, hard look at his would be seducer.

He was taller and older, but not by much.  Slender and pale, the demon’s facial features were almost too pretty; small, twisted horns peeked through dark silken hair which fell across broad shoulders; bat-like wings protruding from his back.

The angel trembled as the demon licked his cherry red lips; lips that tasted like melted sin.

"It doesn’t have to be that way,” the demon whispered in his ear.

The angel closed his eyes; the demon’s hot breath against his neck making his pulse race.  Hands roamed across his chest and belly; he gasped as the demon touched him there.

“It is forbidden,” the angel scolded, temporarily in control of his senses.

The demon chuckled as he continued to caress the angel’s sensitive flesh.

“Do you see what you have done to me.  You driven me mad, and I don’t even know your name.”

The angel swallowed hard.

“It’s Junsu,” he answered, his skin prickling as the demon leaned closer and whispered in his ear.

“I am called Yoochun.  Come with me,” the dark creature entreated his prey; the angel trying not to stare at the demon’s length, still hard and heavy between his legs.

“Go where?  To Hell?  You would see me cast down to satisfy your carnal lust?”

The demon glared at the angel; the celestial being avoiding his gaze lest he be lost in the depths of the creature’s intoxicating eyes.

“Let me love you,” the demon spoke, his voice smooth like silk.

The angel shook his head.

“No.  I will burn in Hell.”

The demon smiled; the angel frightened at the site of sharpened fangs still dripping with his blood..

“Then I shall burn with you for you are my hearts desire.”

The angel pointed to the lock of hair still tied to Yoochun’s belt.

“And your mate?”

The demon looked at his “trophy”; slender digits stroking the braid.

“Lilith.”

The angel staggered back in horror as he recognized the female’s name.  Yoochun’s lover was Satan’s bastard.

“She will accept you,” the demon spoke confidently.

At that moment he knew that the demon had completely lost his mind.

Yoochun reached out and touched the angel’s downy wings.

“How dare you touch me. You are heartless and have no soul.”

The demon chortled; his laughter echoing in the night.

“But you are wrong, my love,” the demon mocked him.  Soulless I may be. But I do have a heart.”

A clawed hand grabbed his wrist; the angel flinched as his palm was placed to lie flat upon the demon’s chest.

“Do you feel my heart?” the demon asked the angel, his fangs scraping gently across the angel’s throat.

“It’s pounding,” the angel answered, his voice low and soft.

“Do you like the way it feels?  Does it make your own heart race?”

The angel shook his head.

“I can hear it.  I can hear your heart.  It’s beating as fast as mine.”

“I am afraid,” the angel admitted.  “I want to go home.  Please let me go home.”

Rage was building up inside the demon’s body.

“Tell me that you want me.  Tell me that you will love me forever.  Give yourself to me.”

The angel stood his ground; white wings fully extended and ready to whisk him away to safety.

“I am leaving now,” he told the demon.  “Do not follow me.”

The demon growled in defiance.

“You will not leave me.”

The animal grabbed the angel, bee-stung lips engulfing his mouth.  Plunging deep inside, the angel moaned as he tasted the warmth of the demon’s tongue.  Like nectar from a flower, the kiss felt like warm, sticky honey.  The angel wept as he grew limp; the demon’s strong arms surrounding him.  His vision blurred; head slumping against the demons chest.  He found himself upon the cold ground; legs spread; his body giving in to gentle touches and teases.

“Please,” he cried.  “Please let me go.”

Pain gripped him as the demon took his innocence; great bat wings looming over him, casting an eerie shadow in the moonlight.

The angel cursed himself as the pain turned to pleasure; his back arched as the demon speared him; incomprehensible sounds escaping his lips with every thrust.  The angel was lost as he finally succumbed to the demon’s sexual prowess; his length now fully erect and throbbing.

The agony was overshadowed by the ecstasy; the demon’s wide girth stretching him; delving deep inside his body.  The angel came hard, his cries of anguish driving the demon mad.  The dark creature bucked forward and spilled; his face contorted; wings vibrating; head shaking violently from side to side.  He growled like an animal; a beast from the depths of Hell.

The heaven’s opened up; rain pouring down to wash away the stench of sweat and semen; but it could not cleanse the angel of his sin.  He was lost forever; he could never go back.

“I hate you,” the angel lashed out at the animal that had destroyed his purity.

They sat in the darkness; the angel’s tears mingling with the pouring rain.

“You must come with me now,” the demon told him.  “You have no choice.  You can never go back.”

The angel scowled at him.

“I’d rather die.”

The angel ran to the edge of the cliff, the demon scrambling after.

“Don’t be a fool.”

The angel smirked at the demon; the animal extending a clawed hand.

“Come with me,” he purred.  “Take my hand.  Love me forever.”

A silent “no” escaped the angel’s lips as he flung himself off the cliff, the demon screaming his name at the top of his lungs; the agonizing sound echoing off the mountain top, shattering the silence of the night.

“Junsu!”
