(no subject)
When I crawled into bed at 3:00 pm this afternoon, I was super exhausted and drained. After having stayed up until 5 am, I was considering pulling an allnighter (glad I decided against it, the 3 hours I got actually made me feel refreshed-ished), working on my final art project I managed to get through class pretty well. The professor really seemed to like my "creative" pieces, and I didn't have a single word of bs in my descriptions this time. Music Theory I zoned out like no other mofo- only one more class of that left! Only 3 more classes and my semester is DONE. and then ONE final (and a take home paper). Anyway, when I woke up 2 hours later the world has changed in to a bright sunny place, even though the sun went down! I got my piece of shit computer which had been refusing to turn on to finally get with the program and immediately greeted by a sea of email, in which was the cast list for Tis Pity She's a Whore, auditions were Wednesday- and as you can guess, by the world suddenly being sunny, I GOT A PART!!! Not a big part mind you, but a PART! Which was all I wanted anyway, having never done classical theater (besides monologues) before. I am soooooooooooooooooooooo excited. The director is awesome, I've been doing the audition workshop with her. She used to live in SF and actually was an opera singer there- how cool is that? Haha, I don't think I've mentioned, but that's actually exactly what I wanna do. Haha, I wanna be Sally Munro- my vocal coach in SF- who gives over priced vocal coaching lessons during the day and sings in the opera chorus at night. Or I wanna be Nadia- the director of said play- and start my career as an opera singer (in the chorus) and go on to become a full fledged theatrical actor. Haha, day dreamy fun. I was so discouraged about the play yesterday, as callbacks turned out to be a JOKE, which discouraged me very much. I really didn't think I'd get a part. So Surprise! Yes. Mary is WICKED happy. AND RELIEVED!!! I'm all done with the huge pieces of work I had this week- and I finished them ALL on time. Yes, very proud. And I couldn't have done it without Mike and Erica, who stayed up with me last night which made the task SO much easier. You guys rock my miss matched socks :) I can kick back this weekend. Sorta. Besides fucking Pippin rehersal. BUT THAT WILL BE DONE IN A WEEK. AND IN TWO, thats right, TWOOOO weeks I'll be home!! Holy shit, I didn't even realize that til now. Those weeks are going to fllllly by! Oh I'm in such a good mood even Pippin shit cant fuck it up! LALALALALA!
