overdue vids
yesterday i realized that i hadn't uploaded my led zeppelin videos to youtube. so i did. 6 months later. if you are interested. they aren't the greatest quality, but they are better than nothing. they looked a lot clearer before going onto youtube. i cannot blame youtube for the shakiness and general terribleness. oh well!
the first vid is the band's intro and the beginning of good times bad times. my cam doesn't let me zoom once i've started recording, and it was just a wee screen lit up when i started recording, so i didn't zoom in at all. that's basically what the show looked like to me before i moved up a bit closer a couple songs in.
then i stopped and started recording with a bit of zoom. not the rest of good times bad times, but a bit more.
and then i decided to try recording stairway to heaven. i had it zoomed so much the slightest move made me lose what i was taping, and i was being shoved quite a bit. and then the camera battery died so i didn't get near the whole song, but 4 minutes is better than 0 minutes.
today i downloaded the new wolf parade album! tuesday i got the notwist's newest album, wednesday was bss presents brendan canning, and today wolf parade. this qualifies as a really good week for me right now.
i was hoping i'd have the news i've been waiting for today, whether it be good or bad, but still nothing. i'm really hoping i know something tomorrow because i can't go through another weekend this stressed out.
oh, folds of policy are playing HERE tomorrow! seeing them play will be the first thing i do in antigonish involving friends since april 4th. lisa do you want to come??! i think you should! we could have some drinks here then go down to chuggles. it wouldn't be quite the same as my penthouse patio drinks followed by the marquee in halifax, but it would be sorta the same - you and me!
