Hmmm... these suggestions are pretty random.... but how about... some Joel Plaskett Emergency (True Patriot Love, Love this Town,), The Weakerthans (One Great City, Wellington Wednesdays), The Bicycles (2 Girls from Montreal), Malajube (Montreal -40*C), Chromeo (Fancy Footwork), HiLoTrons with some Wolf Parade, Stars and Tegan and Sara mixed in?

i like your thinking jennie.

true patriot love is definitely #1 on my list. that was the basis for my 'canada day tshirt' years ago. i only realized wolf parade were canadian like 2 weeks ago. for some reason i always thought they were from nyc. it made me a little bit [a lot] happy when i realized they were from bc/quebec.

o canada. you make me proud.

You could also add in some Sloan too and bring it all back to grade nine and ten.

umm why weren't we better friends in grade nine and ten?

I wasn't around in grade nine and for some grade ten was a bit of a blur. Oh vey.

Other suggestions include Cuff the Duke and the Be Good Tanyas if you have co-workers who enjoy a bit of country flavour.

i will accept your gr 9 excuse. gr 10, i'm not so sure about. actually it's kinda funny, i was thinking about school or questioning things or something or other in the past couple days and i was thinking about you and caitlin and how you guys would always ask questions in history class and i was always disappointed, not because i was too shy to ask questions but because i never had anything to question. i think the rest of our class learned a lot thanks to the two of you.

i honestly don't know what my co-workers enjoy because we listen to the most boring radio stations ever while working. 2007 brit pop woo. not.

That was one crazy history class! My love of questions slowly died after that year. I think the boys in the class, namely Bill, kept things from getting too serious though.

Brit pop circa, again, 1995 would be fun, but not 2007.

your love of questions should never have died. i have always wished i had the questioning instinct in me beause of you. though i suppose bill could deflate that.

i also remember you doing an english paper on pulp - common people. i did mine on a fucking alanis morissette song. you win! why do i remember this junk?

Yes! Wow! I did do that paper on Pulp... I even think I still have that album around here somewhere. Classic Brit pop!

hah. i remembered that the other day when i was walking home from work and common people came on my ipod. so random. i have heard that song so many times in the last few years, but that day, mr. marenick's class popped into my head. everything somehow comes together on livejournal. i think i remember it more because it was also a presentation rather than just a paper. otherwise it would be scary weird.
