I feel like maybe I should update this...

So it's "summer" now I guess!
My summer class started on Monday. I'm taking Human Learning and Cognition, and it seems like it will be interesting, but probably very intense. There are a surprising amount of assignments and quizzes considering it's a condensed summer course, so I really need to do some reading this weekend. It feels very weird to have to be doing school work since school is technically over, but I want to do well in this course, especially for my goal of a Psych minor. So this can be my contract I guess. Work hard, Tiffany! Do well!

I work everyday this week and the days are really long and I am so tired by the time I get home, but it will be worth it because I really need the money :/ I am very tired right now. I had to work at 10, which meant I had to get the bus at 9 22 and then I had class at 1 30 til 4 30 (in which I had a pop quiz!) and then I went back to work til 7. Oh and my register went all wonky right as we were trying to close and there was almost a minor crisis - but it all worked out in the end.

I have been reading a lot more lately, which I am happy about.
So far I have read The Time Traveler's Wife by Adurey Niffenegger which was beautiful, and Looking for Alaska by John Green, which was ok, fairly simple to read as it is a young adult novel, but I gotta support the vlogbrothers and fellow Nerdfighters :) lol
I just recently started Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman, which is very interesting so far. I have a whole list on my computer of the books I want to read. I love buying books, but I should probably just go to the library haha.
Books that I have in my possession right now that are in line to be read include:
- Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut
- Atonement by Ian McEwan (did not really enjoy the movie, though the cinematography was beautiful, the plot was a little lacking, so hopefully the book will be better)
- Almost Moon by Alice Sebold which I have had since my birthday, but haven't gotten a chance to read it
and I will probably attempt The Virgin Suicides again, even though I couldn't really get into it the first time I tried to read it - maybe it will be more interesting a second time around...
I have a couple other books on my shelf that haven't been read so I guess they will get added to the list, and then I will most likely reread Deathly Hallows at some point, because the summertime just isn't the same without some Harry Potter.

Not much else planned for the summer.
I'm going to the Olympic Island festival with Death Cab and Stars that I am really excited about, and hopefully I will also be going to the Roger's Picnic, because that line-up sounds really great.
Otherwise I will just be doing things as they present themself I guess.
Things are going well though, or as well as they can be I suppose...
Off to bed for some more reading now :)
