2nd hand culture shock
today, this from my friend Jade, an English teacher in Madrid:
Jade: jose and miguel [Jade's roommates] watch game shows where you win money all day every day
2:58 PM and i just walked in the living room and it was the one that is all luck (the amounts of money are in boxes etc etc)
and some guy won 600 000 euros
it was the most ever won in the program
the host started crying
and the guy who won started crying and then he shouted out that he had had a pony tail for 20 years
and they brought him scissors and he chopped it off
2:59 PM i live in a really weird world
