Prior to E3, I had been sold on buying both an Xbox One and a PS4. I thought for sure that Sony would give me a good reason to choose their product.
Maybe, for some, the DRM issue is a good enough reason to choose the PS4, but 1) DRM is only about how you get rid of games, not share them and 2) Sony lied about it anyway, so the issue is mostly moot. -Oh definitely, the Xbox One has more DRM, but it also has more sharing features as a result, though I won't pretend that it makes up for it.
Still, when it comes down to it, Sony hasn't done enough to sway me to their console. In fact, based on their E3 showing, they pushed me away. Public opinion seems to be 180 degrees the opposite from me, though! For that reason, I wrote today's article on it; here's a clip.
The Games
Here's a question: If Sony's approach to the PS4 really is that it's all about the gamers, why didn't they invest like Microsoft did to score amazing IPs and exclusives for their console?
Exclusives Games Comparison Chart
**THIS LIST IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE**
Off the top of my head, I decided to make a list of some of the biggest games we saw yesterday at E3. - Plus Call of Duty: Ghosts, because you can't have gaming without COD. - As I was writing this article, confirmation came that both Final Fantasy XV (Previously Versus XIII) and Kingdom Hearts will NOT be PlayStation exclusives. They won't even be timed-exclusives. Sony botched this big time: Xbox One will also be getting both highly anticipated titles day one of their releases.
So let's get this straight, guys: the three games that got us the most excited for PlayStationspecifically were Destiny, FFXV, and KH3. You can play all three on the Xbox One. - Which was offhandedly confirmed as Direct X 11 compatible, by the way, so they'll still look incredible! - Sony was basically advertising for Xbox for free, and we didn't even realize it. Why limit yourself, right? Why exclude yourself from that long list of games?

#E3 - Why You Should Buy an Xbox One"
But I figured I'd pop in and declare definitively that I am buying an Xbox One for next gen! How about y'all? :D
