Look into songs and stuff for Rock Band Blitz

May 29, 2012 15:20

Today, Harmonix released a list of 11 new songs and detailed two of the 15 new power-ups for their summer 2012 XBLA/PSN game Rock Band Blitz.

Blitz will ditch peripherals for a standard controller and will allow players to switch between instrument tracks for a fast-paced game. Blitz will also include power-ups such as Overdrive and Pinball, which will shoot a silver pinball around the screen and force you to simultaneously keep the ball on the track while maintaining your streak.

Blitz will be able to use most of the tracks available in the Rock Band Music Store, as well as 20 new Blitz-specific songs. Harmonix released a list of 11 new songs today:

The All-American Rejects - “Kids in the Street”
Barenaked Ladies - “One Week”
Collective Soul - “Shine”
Elton John - “I’m Still Standing”
Fall Out Boy - “A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More ‘Touch Me’”
Great White - “Once Bitten Twice Shy”
Iron Maiden - “The Wicker Man”
Living Colour - “Cult of Personality”
P!nk - “Raise Your Glass”
Shinedown - “Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)”
Tears for Fears - “Shout”
