De-Lurking!!

Hello fellow creepies! I must say how much I have enjoyed being a part of this community, and I must admit I get a bit giddy when the end of the week approaches and the all holy Saturday FFA is nearing. :3  You all rock!

Ok, now onto the good stuff.

A little backstory to start out, so you all aren't confused as hell.

I am a twin, though my sister was killed when we were 14 in a car accident. She died suddenly, so we don't think she was in pain. Honestly the only thing I remember about the whole thing is the doctor ushering my Dad and myself into a room, and telling us that my sister had died. I also remember screaming. My mother was also in this accident, but survived with only cuts, bruises and a broken rib. I've really blocked the whole thing out..though that's not really the healthiest thing.

Onwards to the creepy...
Ever since I turned 20 which was back in 1999, I have felt a presence following me. I continue to feel as though someone is staring at my back, a little bit lower that between my shoulder blades. It never goes away. I always have assumed it was my sister. It's not menacing in any way, but does get annoying at times. I'm not sure if she came to watch over me, as I was having a really difficult time dealing with her death at that time. I had suppressed it for so many years.

I remember many instances that I have felt someone actually walking behind me. One that sticks out is when I was living in Ohio and walking back home after work. It was autumn and it was a beautiful day. I was walking down between two buildings, and felt like someone was standing right behind me, watching me. At that point in time, there was no wind. As soon as I turned, there was a sudden gust and it kicked up a pile of leaves in a mini tornado. I wasn't scared, but had this overwhelming feeling of comfort, and I knew it was her.

Another time I recall I was living back in Illinois. I was in my apartment and was doing the dishes. Something caught the corner of my eye and I turned just in time to see a black shadow dart from the computer to the fridge. It was a tiny space, so it couldn't have been anyone. else I remember fleeing the room and was always wary about going back in there.

Also, in the past few years, I have become rather good at predicting things. The most recent ones were of an employer's death  a year and a half ago, and the gas station 2 doors down from where I live now being robbed a few months back. I normally can't tell what is going to happen, only that it's either going to happen to someone or something.

In regards to my previous employer dying. I was sitting in the ER with her during her last days, visiting with the family and all. Her daughter and husband were there and were fussing over her, making sure she was comfortable. By that time, she was had been in a coma for a few days. I was sitting next to the door, which was open, but had a curtain you could pull across for privacy. It was a small room, and only had one bed. As I was sitting there watching them all, I felt an icy hand on my left shoulder. There was no breeze, and no one standing next to me. I even got up to peer around the curtain. All the nurses were down at the nurse's station, and would have had to be awful quick to get from the door to where they were standing in such a short amount of time.

Well, I guess I should stop stretching your Flist. Thanks for letting me ramble and share! <3
