Tom's a fucking moron to begin with, and what he said doesn't even make logical sense. How would a "female fetish" make up for you not being man enough? "You're not man enough for me, so I'm going to go sleep with a woman!"
I really hope Emmett's brother tells him all the homophobic shit he has said (unless Emmett has heard it himself??) Either way, I hope he doesn't stay friends with him after the show because that is one of the few things that would break Tom's tiny heart.
